Q&A with Cosmin Dumitrache
A documentary filmmaker, Cosmin was one of the directors of the movie Wild Romania. In this new project he has combined his passion for nature with his passion for traveling, and in this Q&A session he will tell us about the challenges behind the making of this documentary.

Cactus Hotel
What would it be like to live for 200 years? What would we do with that time? How would we make this long life fulfilled? A gigantic Saguaro cactus in the Sonoran Desert tells its own story spanning two centuries and how its existence sustains many others in the area. This cactus becomes a real hotel, ready at any time to offer room and board, like a real all inclusive resort.
This documentary won the Audience Award at last year's edition of our festival and has a special screening in the presence of its director.

Cactus Hotel - inside the production
Masterclass with Yann Sochaczewski
Awarded at many festivals and loved by viewers from all over the world, this documentary was inspired by a book Yann Sochaczewski read as a child. In this masterclass we'll learn how the whole project started and the challenges behind the camera, in order to find out more about how the documentary film industry works and how to realise such a project, from the idea to the premiere at a festival.

We end the festival with a screening of the film that won the Audience Award and sharing good thoughts for a future edition.
