Wild Horses - a tale from the Puszta
The documentary follows the story of a Przewalski foal, the only truly wild horse species in the world, to discover its adventures in the Hungarian Puszta. Filmed over several seasons, the documentary shows us aspects from the lives of the animals which share the same habitat as the Przewalski horses and takes us back to a time when the whole Europe was a plain where herbivores reigned.

Admission is free with a valid reservation*.

Q&A with Zoltan Török
Zoltan Török is the director of the documentary and comes to Brașov to tell us more about what it was like to produce this film which was awarded at several festivals, such as Green Screen in Germany and the Wildlife Film Festival in the Netherlands.

Backyard Bears of Transylvania
We've all heard plenty of news about bears being used to living near humans, but why does this happen? The documentary tells the story of a female bear who ends up living on the streets, and the narrative is purely observational, presenting the facts in a journalistic investigation style, without taking sides for humans or bears, leaving the viewer to draw their own conclusions about what is good and what is bad related to the cohabitation with this emblematic animal of the Carpathians.
Admission is free with a valid reservation*.

Q&A with Mihai Pop
With 17 years of experience in nature conservation, Mihai is passionate about large carnivores and works in the ACDB (Association for the Conservation of Biological Diversity), being a member of the IUCN Bear Specialist Group and of other specialised institutions. We will discuss with him the problem of habituated bears and what solutions we can implement to protect both bears and human life.
