Lynx Festival Opening Gala
We invite you to celebrate the beginning of the festival and to have a glass of wine at the Reduta Cultural Centre, followed by an official opening at 18:30 and the first film of the edition.
Throughout the festival, you can also visit the following photo exhibitions: FAF'24, Naturopolis, Lepidoptera (at Reduta Cultural Center), Safari in Kenya (at The Multicultural Center of Transilvania University) and Milvus Photocontest (outdoor at Livada Poștei).

Europe - one continent, five worlds
Most large-scale documentaries have often focused on remote natural areas of the planet, while our continent has been less explored. In 3 years of filming, 30 cameramen from 10 different countries covered almost 30 countries in Europe, including Romania, to make the most ambitious documentary film about this continent. 1.000 days of filming have been packed into stories that create a series of 6 episodes, which take us on the trail of polar bears in Svalbard, across the Danube Delta with a flock of pelicans, through the waves of the Azores Islands floating next to a blue whale or on the trails of the Caucasus with the Asian leopard. The documentary presented at the festival is a reduced version of the series and emphasizes the best and most spectacular moments.

Q&A with Călin Hodor
Passionate about nature since he can remember and a biologist for over 20 years, Călin worked at the Retezat National Park, and is currently an independent biodiversity consultant. He helps protected areas with the necessary documentation for their management, private companies to carry out projects with the lowest possible impact on biodiversity, and the state to create infrastructure with insignificant impact on the environment. In addition to all this, he is also a consultant for the Wild Romania project and we will discuss in this Q&A session how important it is to preserve the nature of our continent.
