My Garden of a Thousand Bees

O poveste plină de uimire și revelații. Un producător de filme documentare își petrece perioada de izolare din timpul pandemiei de coronavirus filmând albinele din micuța sa grădină urbană din Bristol, Anglia și descoperă diversitatea de specii și personalități care există în această familie de insecte. A story of surprise and revelation. A wildlife filmmaker spends his time during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown filming the bees in his tiny urban garden in Bristol, England and discovers the many diverse species and personalities that exist in this insect family. Filming with one-of-a-kind lenses he forged at his kitchen table, he catalogues more than 60 different species, from Britain’s largest bumblebees to scissor bees the size of a mosquito. Over long months, Dohrn observes how differences in behavior set different species apart. He eventually gets so close to the bees he can identify individuals by sight, documenting life at their level as we have never seen it before.
