The Danube Delta and the Healing Power of Nature
Directed by Emmanuel Rondeau for the Wilder Europe series, this short documentary explores the deep connection between people and nature in the Ukrainian part of the Danube Delta. The film follows the initiatives carried out by Rewilding Europe and Rewilding Danube Delta to restore ecosystems and support local communities, even in the difficult context created by the war in Ukraine. The documentary speaks about nature’s power to regenerate not only wild landscapes, but human lives as well.

Q&A with Marina Drugă
Biologist and director of Rewilding Romania, Marina is involved in some of the most important nature restoration projects in our country. With extensive experience in biodiversity conservation and European environmental policy, her work focuses on ecosystem restoration and reconnecting communities with nature. She is involved in rewilding projects in the Southern Carpathians and the Danube Delta, and during this Q&A we will discuss both these initiatives and the broader importance of such projects at a European level.

Masterclass with Toby Nowlan
Last year’s most acclaimed film at the LYNX Festival returns to Brașov for a special screening alongside director and producer Toby Nowlan. After the screening, the audience is invited to a masterclass dedicated to the story behind the documentary and the challenges faced during production.
Toby will share what it is like to work on a successful documentary alongside David Attenborough and how this film managed to inspire real changes in global policies aimed at protecting the oceans.
The language of this masterclass will be English.

We end the festival with a screening of the film that won the Audience Award and sharing good thoughts for a future edition.
