Leopard Legacy
This moving story about a family of big cats in the Zambian wilderness will completely captivate you. The film’s protagonist is Olimba, a leopardess of stunning tenacity, whose life has been featured in other exceptional documentaries. Although she passed away last year, immediately after filming wrapped for the BBC series Kingdom, her legacy lives on. This film serves as a tribute to the profound bond that often develops between documentary filmmakers and the subjects they follow over the years.

Interview with Lianne & Will Steenkamp
Renowned for their documentaries focused on remarkable characters and unique animal behaviour, Lianne and Will have more than 20 years of experience, and their work has been recognised with three Emmy nominations and numerous other awards. Last year, their film Lions of the Skeleton Coast was one of the festival’s most acclaimed productions, and now you have the chance to get to know them much better and discover behind-the-scenes stories from the production in an interview where the two filmmakers talk about their first encounter with Olimba and how they stayed by this animal’s side until the very end of its life.

Q&A with Andrei Blumer
A pioneer of ecotourism in Romania and president of the Association of Ecotourism in Romania, Andrei advocates for the development of responsible tourism, closely connected to nature and supportive of local communities. Following the screening of this film, we will discuss the importance of local communities in protecting nature and the changes we need to make in order to achieve a better balance between people and wildlife.
